i read o lot of forums with this trick, and the result isnt the same for all people. some say , it works, some say it slow down, menus, games, etc..... some say it can increase memory to 660, some says the items will be back after master reset, some says the games dont appear anymore.... so i m not sure i works.
and my question is.
when i calculate all sizes of all items in my phone, then it will be 1123 kb. when i buy this thing, there was 520 kb free (including 120kb for THPS4-hate this one). so the question, what is the maximum free memory that i can get with master reset or this trick ????? is it max 660 kb that says guys all around ???? if yes, so i wont do it. 660 or 520 its not big difference. if i only could delete THPS , then i get almoust the same 520+120 = 640 free................

Dont do it.
the max you will ever get is approx 570kb - Some has reported results up to 660kb - but only after seriously mishandling the phone and i seriously do not beleive them to actually read their results correctly - simply because its not possible.
This whole 13sec trick is one big misunderstanding.
It will NOT physically free up any more memory - all it does is "hide" some items in the filetable by not loading the entire filetable. A normal master reset will remove any items that are removable (operator included crap) or allow you to remove them, but it will not remove any predefined SE objects. The phone has approx 570kb free memory if I recall correctly - this you can get by a normal masterreset - you will never have more than that no matter what you do.
The memory of approx 1132kb is fixed in two "partitions" - one is free for the user approx 570kb, the rest (systempartition) is locked for firmware and SE predefined objects. You only have acces to write to the userpartition not the systempartition. Performing a master reset reloads the systempartition from a rom in the phone - if you interrupt that reload by doing the 13sec trick it either fools the filetable to report wrongly what is loaded or it may not load everything - it makes no difference which - because you still do not have acces to use the systempartition of the memory.
When you perform a masterreset it first loads the system, then the predefined items, if you interrupt that at the correct time you might stop it from loading the predefined items (but you will not gain any memory), but if you interrupt at the wrong time - it will not finish loading the system itself and your phone will nolonger be able to start and will need a reload of the system at your local SE center.
So dont do it - all you get is a possible mailfunctioning phone !
