Hello All...

I just recently bought a new T68 and my software is R3A. Can anyone tell me difference between my software and all the other ones??

The reason why I don't know and I am asking is because this phone is totally new to me and can't really compare to any other older ones. If anyone recently bought one with R3A and know more about this phone, please reply.

Thanx

R3A should be the one with mms. If this guy isn't joking, we have a sensation. SE has put the mms software in a t68m!!!!!!!! (Think I'll visit my Service Point....)

i was informed by ericsson that there is no R3A upgrade available... ericsson is wrong or the above user??? (2 days ago they told me that they will release a newer version in May, i am not saying that the user is a liar, ericsson might be wrong).

The message doesn't say he bought a T68m, so it's probably a T68i then, right?

Xeleven has a point, he might not know the difference between the T68m and the T68i as he has no experience with any of the previous versions.

Any way he said that he bought the phone, assuming its a T68m, with the software. R3A was released on the T68i ages ago and we haven't received the upgrade yet.

If it is on the T68m I'm just gonna go and swap me phone, "apparently something is wrong with it"

Hello all

After reading everyone's comments, I feel like I have to post again. To Juming...thankyou for your suggestion....I will check my phone for MMS as soon as I receive my SIM card.

Although I said I don't know much about the T68, I still know the difference between T68m and T68i. Mine is T68m....NOT i. I ordered my phone from UK from a relative and I've been waiting for it for a long time since I was told that the phone I ordered was recalled to do some upgrade...I am assuming the upgrade was to R3A. I am from Toronto, Canada, my phone just came in and I just received it through mail.

At the back of my phone....is labeled:

DPY 101 2516/20 R3A...I am assume that is a new software right??

The reason why I couldn't check for MMS yet is because I had to order my SIM through my service provider and it'll come in 3 days....yes I know....our technology here in Canada is still far behind compared to all you guys in Europe..that is why I even have to wait just to get a SIM card. But as soon as I get my card....I'll try it out....and post again.

Thanx....

the main difference AS OF NOW between i and m is the software (excluding the external design of course) but they soon will have the same software capabilities. so if your phone is actually an "m" with the MMS menu, the picture phonebook, photo album, etc. then that is the software version all of us are waiting for!!!
