ok, which do i get
obviously the p800 is much better than the 7650, but thats why it costs twice as much.
my question is, is the extra cost justified by the the extra technology/utilities etc?
thanx |

The p800 is worth every penny! And as far as i know, can do more and has more software being developed than the 7650. And is much more usefull and when the flip is removed, can be used and looks like a pda. And touch sensitive screen makes it so easy 2 do exactly what u want without messing around with pressing lots of buttons. Much much easier on the thumbs and the virtual pc style keyboard is a lifesaver when u do not want 2 use the handwriting recognition software. Its simply the best!

Having friends who bought 7650's (about 5 of them bought them at the same time) then I had to wait about a year till I got the P800, I've had plenty of chance to play around on their phones, had my P800 just over a week and I'm discovering new things every day, I personally would go for the P800, extra memory, bigger screen, and that really cool cradle

The memory is easily extended from the 16mb sony memory stick duo 2 the 128mb version, although expensive, can hold lots of downloaded applications and mp3's and u can also buy an expansion jacket that allows u 2 put standard memory sticks in it up2 128mb or the use of memorystick select 128x2 with a capacity of 256mb, (128 on side a and the other 128mb on side b) ;-) can life get any better? Hehe the p800 rocks!

dont put the 7650 witht he p800, put the 3650.. becoz it has the memory option, and it has an expandable memory thingy... and its not of a bulky style, and of course u're after the camera quality, the 3650 has it, and the video option, plus the meory stick is cheaper than the DUO.... well yeah of course this is a p800 forum and everyone will tell u to buy the p800, but i think 3650 is good, but has shitty appearance.... hmm.. it all depends what u need.... say what u want, and we'll tell u what to choose, but between P800, and 7650... P800 of course...
P.S. i do own a P800.. and I HATE NOKIA AS anything!!! |

I agree, but with many programs still in developenent for both, and many still being thought of and ericsson being 3years ahead of everybody else and being able 2 software upgrade your ericsson phone at any carphone warehouse in the uk its a hard choice, but the p800 can only be beaten by its replacement, which we should soon see and hear much more of!

Need i say more !!!
DUTCH WOMAN'S FIREY CALL
A Dutch woman suffered burns to her neck and face when her mobile phone burst into flames.
It happened after she dropped the phone in a music shop in central Amsterdam.
The handset caught fire when she picked it up and switched it back on, a police spokesman said.
The 33-year-old was treated for superficial burns by an ambulance team.
"The battery got hot and then the phone burst into flames," said Jan Willem van Hofwegen, of Fame Music store.
"It was a Nokia. We later heard she had used a replacement battery."
A Nokia spokesman in Helsinki said similar incidents had happened in the past.
They were always related to faulty batteries from independent electronics manufacturers, the spokesman said.
"We've heard about phones that overheated, melted and, in the worst case, exploded," he said.

I had the 7650 before my P800, the 7650 has a better cam and the night mode works unlike the P800 but as for everything else the P800 is much better if you get the nokia you will REGRET it for the rest of your life |

I got R2F and the night mode has no effect, when you point the cam at a dark area with a small bit of light its ment to amplify the light by making the shatter stay open longer and make it light up more
