I have a Serial cable that I bought for my T68i, but I just bought the T616 from AT&T. Now I tried using it for my new phone, and guess what? It worked, sort of. The T616 came with software that I installed on my PC, running Windows XP. I used The Sony Ericcson Image Editor, and it worked with the phone, but when I tried to use chrissterson.org's software, sendfile 2.0, it wouldn't connect to the phone. I can't be the mobile phone monitor because it works with the image editor, anybody have a clue how else I can send files to my t616?

i think christersson's sendfile doesn't work with the newer firmware, since it was working with my t68i but after i had updated firmware on it sendfile no longer worked.
but if u go to:
www.eflame.com/fma
the mobile agent there was what i was using for my t68i,and it works with my t610,so it should be fine with ur t616.

You can send any file you like to any SE phone just by using the Sony Ericcson My pictures. Run it and then use the send file icon without opening any portofolio files. You'll see that it asks the type of file you'd like to send. You can send anything you want as long as it is supported by the phone (i.e. no poly-ringtones for t68m/i).

SendFile does work with T610 (firmware R1L). I have tested it over cable and bluetooth. You have to make sure that MPM is functioning properly though.
