Does anyone have any ideas on how to improve the overall stability and feel of the housing on the P800?

I love my P800, but the overall greatness of this phone is minimized by the somewhat cheap feel and performance of some of the components of the housing. In particular the battery cover creaks and bends inward when you handle the phone. The same applies to the plastic stylus. So I was hoping someone has discovered a way to modify the phone, maybe inserting something behind the battery cover, to improve the feel. The flip cover also moves a little, but I was able to put a very small piece of styrofoam type substance under it and now if doesn't move or give at all. I know that using one of the aftermarket stylus's would help the stylus issue, but I'm stumped on the battery cover.

One of the reasons I am eagerly awaiting the P810/900 is the aluminum housing should make for a much more substantial feel and handling performance.

i sometimes keep my 16MB duo stick and other sim under the battery cover. should help stop the battery cover flexing.

I have the newer model, and yes the battery cover has the plastic ridges. Maybe I am being over critical, but the battery cover just seems to be a flimsy design. I will try placing my extra duo stick in behind the cover.

I got a P800 early on so I had the cover without the reinforcements. Now that I have a mineral grey casing (with new battery cover) the creaking is much reduced. To get rid of it almost completely I put foam tape along the edges where the cover rests against the frame. Not too thick though so that cover doesnt bulge out.
