Have to upgrade software on my T68i in the morning, concerned I'm gonna lose lots of stuff.

Can anyone help with a way to get my sound recordings off onto my PC (got IR, BT on PC)?

...and any other important settings, stuff or things I might have overlooked.

Please help urgent.

Thx.

I've seen posts on diff region upgrades with diff effects, eg. old posts but version 8 was giving some reg. games others not.

Should I / Can I ask for specific region s/w?

I'm moving from version 6 to ver 8.

P.S. forgotten how to do the 'joystick' thing to find service settings

P.P.S. Aussies, what region s/w do we get?

>*<<*<* is the way

you should be able to ask for different regions for the software... wheter the give it you or not is a different matter.

as for the original question...
just goto "my sounds" under the fun and games menu. find the recordings you wanna send. press the option button, and goto send via IR/BT

@ MixiN; You are a LEGEND mate!

I can't believe I didn't see it B4 as I am a fiend at searchin up n down menu structures lookin for stuff.

Logic got me I guess, I was expecting to do it thru Sound Recorder which only offers the MMS option.

@ MixiN & All: I BT'd a file to my PC but it doesn't have anything to play it with...
... any clues or s/w I can use to playback ( .AMR format)???

@ guys: thx for help to date. Still no joy in converting.

Worked smart n did Esato '.amr' search - got...

1. Miksoft 2.Spot XDE
plus (thx to Mixin)-
3. Ericsson AMR converter

Can't get audio out of products of 1st two, can't get 3rd one to work at all.
This is despite 4 hours of downloads, DirectX,codec patches - the lot!
(not much sleep last night)

"is there anybody OUT there...?"

It surely can't be this hard to play these files!!!

@ Mixin re joystick- thx; @ binoblaine05- close, thx anyway
