yeah, they look awesome! better than the nintendo variety cos it actually plays dvd movies

It's a lot bigger than Nintendo's version. But I think it looks 10 time better

Import one, although they retail about 300, but they are region 2 so they will play british DVDs. Have it chipped, it should cost an extra 50 but you'll be able to play any DVD and any Game Cube Game.

Not a bad deal, considering the X-Box cost 300 and you need to get a remote to play the DVDs which will set you back 30.

Nintendo and Panasonic have done really well with the prices of these machines.

WH Smiths are going to be selling the GameCube for 149.99 I have heard for a week when it is launched on the 3rd May

panasonic gamecube in hong kong cost around US$499... it plays both US and Japan games and can play all region DVD. =) over in europe you guys use PAL or NTSC?

we use PAL in europe, which is kinda sucky when we wanna play import games...

The thing is you can chip them but if something goes wrong you are knackered..

Gamecube is not out yet in europe right? you have to check out the remake of resident evil for GC... it rocks...

Its the same like CameCube.

i like the look of the gamecube...
its not that expensive, the controller feels nice to hold, unlike xbox (i hate the controller, feels awful to hold) and it has compatibility with my gameboy advance... cant think of anything better

star wars looks awesome aswell...

I think the GameCube is going to do really well. It's smalll, Nice to look at and some really good games are coming out.
