Here is my question. I hope you guru's outthere can help. I noticed that when I surf the net on the P800 it will automatically use my LAN connection when it is on the pc syc station.
I tried to get my email from the accounts I set up on the phone but it still uses GPRS to connect. At least that is what the popup says on the screen. How come it does not use my LAN connection to get my emails. Is there a setting I am missing or something?

Only opera browser will use your lan connection In my experience the default apps on the phone won't i.e. mail, internet and so on.

U can get it to work using a proxy server. If you download any proxy server from the internet and install on your PC, then tell the app on your phone to point at that PC's IP address (usually a setting for using a proxy server) it will use the proxy server and work.

Ive only tried this with jMSN myself so far. But it should work with everything else too!
