i have t68i.
when using my local sim, the BT is disabled.
is there a way to enable it?
ps: i know there a local phone users with local sim that their t68i is enabled somhow.

Yo ygil,
Use a sim card from foreign country, enabled BT.
Inserd your sim, and go!

insert a foreign sim card, create a shortcut to the Bluetooth menu, then put in your own simcard. |

i made the shortcut on the foreign sim, replaced it and still, it didn't work...
any other idea?

From 1st October 2003 this will no longer be a problem in Israel.

Yes Its Official now.
Starting from 1st of september, BT is legal in Israel.
Not that anybody didnt use it before here

Hey all
I just purchased a T610, it's a nice machine, though not quite user-friendly as I expected.
Anyways, I live in Israel, so BT is disabled when I insert my SIM.
I saw that on 1st October, Bluetooth will be legal in Israel.
My question, how will that affect my phone ? will it be enabled automatically (don't think so).

The bluetooth in Israel will be legal only after the 31.10.2003. to enable BT in T68I you have to flash your phone with this frimware:R2B025
I used this with no problem(and I had Hebrew on my phone).
Sorry,but I still don't know how to enable the BT in the T610. |

It is not working you need to hack into the handset software and disable Israel from the ignore list unfortunately I know it only in theory if anyone know how to do it I will be happy to learn |
