Using bluetooth to synchronise with Outlook details between my Sony VAIO PCG-Z1SP & my Sony Ericsson P800 only works on an intermittent basis. The PC Suite for P800 only seems to be able to establish a connection when the Bluespace NE software connects the COM port and also displays the MAC address of the phone in the connection message. Otherwise the connection is established and is recognised by the phone but no MAC address is displayed. In this circumstance the PC suite software does not detect the connection of the COM port and the phone. I have been trying to establish the circumstance under which the MAC address appears but have not been able to. I have upgraded both the PC suite software (1.5.1) and the bluetooth drivers to the latest on the Sony sites but still it only works occasionally. Additionally the connection works every time without fail when I connect via cable. Any ideas? I'm stumped. |
