hi

im getting a replacement phone tomorrow but im wondering...
i know se suite can backup the phone.

but is there a way like nokia do it? I have a 7650 and 6310i that i have a suite called oxygen for. there, i can "download" the contacts then save them. I can also "edit" them on screen, then upload it to the phone. this makes it a hell of a lot easier to edit. I have over 300 entries, some are rogue and some are repetitions... it would be easy to copy and paste into a nice big screen, and the nokia one did just that in a excel type screen. think theres a suite out there to do just that?

let me know!

Thanks

If you sync your fone with Outlook, you can edit them easily there.

Then its just a case of syncing your new fone to pick them all up.

Would this what your after?

thanks for getting back to me

yes outlook is one way, but its still not the easiest.
for one, its got many tabs to go through, whereas the nokia ones was one basic layout on a grid form. very easy.

for anothre point, i have lots of junk there too, stuff i wouldnt need, email addies, msn addies, etc

You could always another mailbox to your outlook just for P800 stuff.

you can keep the contacts seperate then...

dont suppose you know which files contains the images behind the icons??? lol
