Go to sonyericsson.com and click the Configurators link which will help you automatically setup email, wap, gprs and mms.
Knowledge is two fold. Knowing a subject or knowing where to find out about a subject. I rely on both... That is why I come here.

it's easy to do you can only do it if the e-mail address is accessible via POP (all that you use outlook for apart from hotmail as a general rule)... you need to know what the POP address is (e.g. mail.btopenworld.com) and what your mobile networks SMTP address is (e.g. orange is smtp.orange.net i think)

to find the pop one if you don't already know it go to the e-mail accounts option in the menu's of outlook... and select the account that you want (different ways of doing it for different versions of outlook) i can go more in depth is tell me which version you are using. you will then be able to see the server addresses. you only need POP address, the SMTP needs to be the one from your mobile network not the one for that e-mail address (no point going into why just believe it for now)

once you have these just put them into the phone... control panel -> connections -> messaging accounts.

i hope this helps
