Bluetooth internet?? |

I have a T610 and use it as a modem for my mac laptop. I use the bluetooth with a T-mobile wireless internet account. When I am on the internet (using bluetooth) my calls do not come through on the phone and they are sent directly to voice mail. Then I receive a message that I have a voicemail waiting. Am I missing something? Is there a setting that needs to be checked? I have the call waiting feature turned on but I am not sure that that has anything to do with it. Any suggestions?? |

In the data account is a setting for 'allow calls'. It can be automatic or GPRS only. check that. If its GPRS only then set it to automatic.
If you are in a data call and a voice call comes through the GPRS is suspended while you are chatting and resumes afterwards.

I don't know if this is the answer but I remember seeing this on the phone:
Connectivity > Data comm. > Data accounts > [select account you use] > Edit > Allow calls
Check what that is set to and change it to the other option to see if that makes any difference...
Aargh! masseur - you beat me to it!!

Would this also allow text messages to get through while on wap?

If you're using WAP dial-up I'm fairly certain it wouldn't allow an SMS through.
Edit: Although thinking about it, I'm sure I've received SMSs while on a voice call so WAP on dial-up probably would work the same....
I'm not sure about if you access WAP over GPRS though...

When i'm using gsm wap i get my o2 pocket text and normal text messages sent to me while i'm still connected. But on gprs they don't come until i disconnect. I'll put it on auto to check, post a message so i can reply when i return tho.

Yep, worked for of too. Why on earth wasn't it at auto by default? I was actually gonna try that myself last week, it must have left my mind. Another successful Esato tip for me. Thanks.
