I have just bought a MCA-25 camera, and now I want to copy the pics I take from the phone to my computer. I'm reading lots of things and from my experience with this, T68i does not support File Transfer. This has probably been talked about over and over again on this forum, but I know alot of people from forums I visit in Australia that can't get this function working either. Is there something I'm missing? A trick, tricky bit of software, settings I'm missing. Does this work? Or does the T68i not support any kind of transfer over BT?

Hi there, cool another Aussie

I was just about to say I have never got it working, but as I read through the post I thought "I'll just give it another bash now" and it suddenly works! However I'm running XP not 2000, and I have the 100m range Belkin USB Bluetooth adapter. The pictures I just sent across ended up in my "Bluetooth Software/opp" folder under Documents and Settings/me etc. It's not an FTP profile as far as I can tell, I think they go across as PIM objects. What I have always done in the past is to snap a whole lot of photos on my T68i, move them to phone and rename them, then bluetooth them to my iPAQ, which as I said seemed to see them as PIM objects and put them in the iPAQ Temp directory.

I'd suggest checking under your Bluetooth configuration, under the Information Exchange tab, just make sure all of the "accept" boxes are ticked, can't really think of anything else sorry.

So what Australian forums on this subject are there around if you don't mind me asking?

You can send files from T68 to PC over bluetooth. Simply choose the picture/ringtone you want to send (on the phone), choose send, then choose bluetooth. You will have to accept the file on the computer. After that the file will end up in your BlueTooth Exchange Folder, which is most probably in "My Documents", but can be elsewhere. Check your BlueTooth configuration to find it, or simply search for the file.
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.

Ok thanks to both. I was basically looking for confirmation that the T68i does support this function. I now just need to work out my settings/drivers/software.

HI Simon. Where in Sydney are you? I'm South West, past Campbelltown, a little place called Narellan The forum I was talking about was on OCAU, It's mostly a PC overclockers community, but there is a mobile phone forum, web site is www.overclockers.com.au, from there look for forums down the left. You will need to register, I'm Sharkx on that aswell.

I will post back when I have a closer look at my settings.

Cheers
