On the keyboard screen, click on the "123" button. The ' is located there. |

I wish there were some kind of easier way to do it from the abc keyboard instead of having to go to the 123 keyboard and then back again to the abc keyboard

if youre using handwriting recognition, u can add symbols in much quicker. you draw a vertical line in the 'lower-case' part of the screen (remember the line has to start from bottom to top) then you can input a symbol ie:- :,'/- . there should be a help topic within the phone that explains wot you need to do in order to write symbols with handwriting recognition.
hope this helps
if you guys are writing messages with the flip open, why dont you try to use h/writing recognition, its so much faster, and when you get good at it, its like putting pen to paper

on Nokia phones when writing texts - say if you needed to input 'GGG' quickly you can press the forward arrow after each 'G' to speed writing up... is it possible when writing texts on the P800 with the flip to quickly proceed to the next letter without waiting for that second or so?? hope this makes some sense to someone!!! |

@cheese- use the jog dial.
@oppy- learn to use the grafitti area. You just need to write a 7 on the lower part of the screen (on the upper part it makes an actual number seven, so you can't do it anywhere on the screen). Or try to write a question mark without the dot at the bottom (?), actually it's similar to making a 7 too. But if it doesn't work on your P802, then sorry, i don't know about the chinese model. |
