HBH-30 vs. HBH-35 |

Has anyone used both headsets?? The HBH-35 sells for about $100 on-line (USA) and is cooler looking but I can get an HBH-30 for around $60 on Ebay. I'm going to use it mainly for the car (Mazda MX-5 Miata) so wind noise is a concern. I'm just trying to find out if the HBH-35 is worth the extra $40 or so....better looking only goes so far. I did a search but only found info on the HBH-30...a lot of you guys have that one.
Thanks,
Michael Hapner

i have an HBH-35. there seems to be an echo bug with that model. you hear the other party well, but they hear an echo. other than that, comfort, volume, voice commands/dial, range are flawless. you can always blame the other party's phone for the echo, lol. BTW, i am not the only user with the prblem, and its not the phone either (replaced a jabra BT200-no echo)

ThreeX: it works okay with your T610? Some of the posts I've read said something about a crackling/static problem when used with the T610. They would use it on the T68i with no troubles.

I have a jabra freespeak bt200, i love it i use it in my car at 60mph with my window open no problems. And it can be found cheap. I have all my voice control setup except magic word and call accept / reject but i think they may be software issues

bhang: Thanks...I've been looking on the net, I think the Jabra BT200 is at the top of my list now. All the reviews I've read are very good...many said the Jabra is better than the HBH-30. You said magic word doesn't work so you just have to hit the button on the headset for voice dialing, right?

I have the HBH-35 and am very pleased with it, don't have any echo bugs and I think it looks wicked! Especially if you have just seen TOO FAST, TOO FURIOUS!!! |

mhapner:
yup hit the button and then the BTH will beep then you hear the standard SE voice command beep, although mine sometimes laggs from pushing the button to getting th VC prompt... But I think thats a software issue with my T68i r5d007 I want to get it flashed.
as for interference at short distances I only seem to get it around TVs computers moniters etc things with a big EM field I suppose, but this also is supposedly a SE firmware issue and should get better with a handset upgrade, SE in the states will do it for 45.00 postage & packing carton incl.
I am happy with my BT200 and the form factor is great, why reinvent the wheel hearing aides have been in this config for a long time. I can wear mine for about 6-8 hours in the same ear and Ive only had it a week, I would expect to get used to it.
