Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there supposed to be a theme creator available in later sw versions for the t610. I'm sure I've read it somewhere. Just got my t610 and its sw R1A081. How old is this sw and what am I missing? I certainly don't have a theme creator.

I would have thought my phone would have the latest sw version considering it was the latest batch recieved by o2.

R1A081 is old software version - the latest is R1L013. Take your phone along to your local SE service centre and they should be able to upgrade it for you whilst you wait, fre of charge under your 12 mnth warranty.

Isn't the theme creator software on the enclosed CD that was with your phone when you got it? Don't think its something on the phone - it's a program on your PC to create a theme which you can then upload.

Early reviews did comment on there being a theme creator in the phone but it didn't make it to production versions.

Better to use the PC based ones anyway.

Thanks guys. Just one last thing... what will I benefit from when upgrading the software?? Has anyone upgrade from my current version to the new one and if so what differences did you notice. Thanks.

May I point you to the Answers to the most common questions on Esato Forums (FAQ style) thread which itself is an interesting read but also includes link to a large R1L thread in which you can read about the changes.
