I've just bought a HBH-20 and I'm really confused as to what exactly it can do. I've got the latest software on my T68 and what I want to do is set the bluetooth setting to automatic to use the hbh20. The problem is that while set on automatic I can recieve calls fine, I cannot use the voice dialling feature by holding down the button, while if I set my phone to 'ON' then it works fine??? I though this was supposed to have been fixed in the latest version of the firmware.

Also has anyone else found that it doesn't recognise voice dialling names anywhere near as well as when not using the headset? Do I have to reprogram them through the headset? Is tha even possible?

Thanks for any help,

I have both the HBH-10 and HBH-20 :

Voice-dialling ONLY works when its set to "ON" mode, not "automatic".

All 3 Bluetooth-headsets works like this.

"Automatic-mode" is only for recieving calls, and when You diall on the phone, then it will transfer call to headset.

When You record voices, do it in the headset, not the phone. Then it works

I have two different headsets too (the 10 and 15). The bluetooth settings posted by JH67 are correct. I had to re-program my voice commands on my T68 using the headset for it to work and then, it only works some of the time. What I found when I did this is that when I wasn't using the headset, the phone would not recognize any voice commands. The voice recognition of the T68 seems to be very sensitive (and selective). It eventually works OK but I have found that I have had to work at it.

ralphn > Yep you're right,..its pretty sensitive.

When I think of it, I use the voice-dialling when I'm using the headset, not when I'm using the phone alone. Then I just use the phonebook,..I find that faster and easier
