Bluetooth PC Connection not working on T610 |

I bought a Belkin Bluetooth USB adaptor Model F8T003 to sync my PC Outlook with my T610. However my phone cannot make contact with my PC. My phone works on transfering info via bluetooth from one phone to another and my PC adaptor works with other bluetooth phones. My PC is an HPOmnibook 900. Does anyone know if there is a configuration problem or what I should do? |

Here are the general steps you need to take for BT Sync
On the Phone:
1. Enter the menu and scroll to [CONNECTIVITY], press "Select"
2. Scroll to [BLUETOOTH], press "Select"
3. Scroll to [MY DEVISES], press "Select"
4. Press "More"
5. Scroll to [COMPUTER], press "Select"
Before we get started the phone has to be paired and the computer name has to be displayed in "Linked devices" in the phone and that Bluetooth operation mode is set to ON.
Try these steps:
1. Open the Bluetooth software on your computer and Double click on the phone icon (should be a check mark on the phone's icon indicating the phone is paired)
2. Next Right click on SERIAL 1, go to PROPERTIES, and find out what com port is associated with the phone. (Remember this comport)
3. Next you need to open PHONE MONITOR OPTIONS in your control panel. To get there you will have to:
Click on START, Go to CONTROL PANEL (If you have Windows XP you may need to click on CLASSIC VIEW)
4. Open the PHONE MONITOR, Click on the com ports tab (the third tab over).
5. Enable and Reserve the correct com port (Serial 1 from Bluetooth software) and all other com ports should be disabled and unreserved and click APPLY and OK to close Phone monitor, close the control panel.
6. Go back to Bluetooth software and click on the Serial 1 icon until it displays as green. On the phone you should see the Bluetooth symbol and back to back arrows ("B<>"). You should be able to use the Extend PC software to sync as long as the icon stays green.
Hope this works for you

I had some problems with my Belkin Dongle too, but after a few retry's and reboots it works fine
