Hey there! Just been offered a good deal @ a local Vodafone retailer (UK), and remembered seeing something on here with complaints about having a Live! branded T610... Could anyone please let me know what the issues are, and also how to fix them, if there is such a thing. (Yes, I've tried searching, but cannot find a definative: VLive! branded T610s are pants because...)

Thanks guys

I have one, and whilst in general the phone is ok, there's tons of things that are customised for Vodafone, and loads of buttons send you to the Voda website. I find this a nuisance, as buttons that would usually do useful stuff, like the "more" button from the main screen instead takes you to the Voda website, which I couldn't care less about.
The phone is also locked to Vodafone.
The software problem can be fixed by having the phone flashed to the standard software at a friendly service point. The lock I'm not so sure about.

Compare a Vodaphone one to an unbranded one and you'll soon see why almost everyone complains...

- Hideous icons/colour scheme compared to original
- Buttons changed to other functions (usually Vodaphone Live)

Search the forum and check this FAQ thread for info on how to get rid of it all. It's not free or easy...
