Hmm.. I bought a 128MB MMC-card (Apacer brand) for my HPM-10 (the Ericsson mp3-player) a couple of weeks ago. It has worked pretty good until today. The HPM-10 can still play the stuff that is on the MMC. But if I put it in the MMC-card reader on my win2k machine. The computer just eats 100% cpu when trying to access the card, but nothing happens. I tried formatting the card, but it doesn't start formatting it, it just eats 100% cpu.
I also tried the MMC-card in my Digital Camera with a SD-slot and it didn't like the card either (my old 32MB MMC-card works fine in the camera). I tried formatting the card in the DigCam, it says formatting the card, but it still doesn't like the card and all the songs are still there when I put the card in the HPM-10.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Maybe the MMC-card is faulty. But it worked fine the first couple of weeks. And it's a bit wierd that the HPM-10 can access the card with no problems while neither the computer nor my Digital Camera can access it. |
