I upgraded my P800 on Thursday last week and the that was R2F, which I asusme is the latest. The flash update is done directly from the SE web site therefore this must be the current version.

@JAH
what do you mean "flash update is done directly from the SE web site"?? i thought you had to bring it to SE shop to get flashed. is it possible to do it over the web with synch cradle or have i got the wrong end of the stick here?

@Sonyericsson-man
i assume you mean that they get the flash info from the web from SE at the place where you get the p800 flashed, i think. i am not making too much sense at this time of morning, time to quit and watch your fellow countryman Petter Solberg kick ass in Finland tomorrow.

Sorry Baz for the lack of information.

Just to confirm, the service centre I used was linked to a SE web site from where the latest firmware is uploaded into the P800 via a special data cable.

Latest firmware? no, the P800 is too young for SE to stop releasing new firmaware upgrades. There will be always new ones with new functionalities and bug fixes.

You don't have to upgrade everytime a new firmware comes out, just pick the ones with major changes and/or improvements.

Cheers /CD
