Hey Guys,

I have just got the P800 and i installed some games the MIB and car racing game. I have a problem which is they are using alot of memory up and i wish to unistall them and delete them from the phone. I need it for work and need as much memory as possible becuase of the many contacts and phtos needed. Also with the MP3 player how do i upload them to the phone. i want to add some cool songs but for sme reason i cant do it? Any help would be appreciated.

Wow this is an unusual problem whihc could not be solved by an instruction manual.

Firstly you can just get a programme called filmanager from my symbian then just go in to the C drive click system then apps then find the MIB2 and Stuntracer file then tap on the ICON the use the apropriate drop down menu to delete.

To put an MP3 on all you need to do is on your pc put the p800 on the sync station click the my p800 icon then the other logo which pops up then just drag and drop the mp3 in to either the mem stick or phone memory.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Vermania, what are you talking about?

Surely the best way to uninstall an application is , from Applications, select Applications > Uninstall.

But like you say, the way to 'upload' MP3 (see my next point) is via the cradle - click the P800 icon on your desktop, and just find the location you're after.

Rather than use MP3, why not use .OGG; download .OGG player .91 from my-symbian.com, and then go find dbPowerAmp on the internet (get it AND get the .OGG CODEC).

.OGGs are ca. 1/3 the size of the .MP3s.

Steven.

& remember that if you're gonna get serious about Mp3s/Oggs then you are gonna want a card reader as the cradle is painfully slow for large files. Use the search for more details. [addsig]
