Hi everyone.
I am new to this forum and also to mobile phones and I have just bought myself a T610, although I am not too happy with the ringtones that come with it. I am finding a problem transfering ringtones from say my wife's T68i to the T610 (probably i am doing something not quite right) but have no problems in doing the same thing the other way round. Can someone please help me by telling me exactly how to be able to transfer ringtones from T68i to T610 using bluetooth. I cannot seem to find the right menu in T610 that enables me to receive from my other T68 although it has found the phone under the bluetooth section.
Many thanks

jasha, to do it using BT then go to connectivity, bluetooth and make sure BT is ON (first menu item), then go to options (last menu item) and set visibility to 'show phone'.

send your ring tone from the T68i and then don't forget to reverse the settings you changed when finished.

Alternatively, to use IR, from the main screen on T610 where you see the date and time just press the more key and turn IR on. You will now be able to receive using IR from the T68i.

I'm about to get a t610 yay! 1 thing, the t68i keeps its ringtones in the imelody format, the t610 on the other hand only accepts polyphonics in a midi format. so if u want t68i ringtones u hav to get em in midi format. i recommend coding workshop's ringtone converter. lets u get polyphonics for free (creates a wap server for u) and u can get any t68i ringtone completely FREE.

Actually T610 accepts IMY format no problem. I have several IMY ringtones I have transfered from my old T68i.
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.

transfer using ...it's much faster, hassle free and u dun need to align the IR ports of the 68 with the six-ten.....

i'm assuming that the is set to visible in your tee-six-ten.

all u need to do then is to access the Fun & Games menu on the 68...select My Sounds...scroll to the ringtone u want, press Option and select Send...choose Bluetooth and the phone will search for a device (in this case the tee-six-ten)....click yes to send and voila!!!

oh!! u need to accept it on the six-ten.....piece of cake!!!
