Amongst our fellow users are there any of us who can write progams for the T610.
I ask as there are few things I wouldn't mind being done, if only I knew someone who could do them..
My wish list:-
• Keypad lock via personal code rather than the default method.
• Block all incoming with-held numbers.
• Auto reset of call timers or SMS counter to match my billing date.
• Different ring tones for SMS.
• Contrast control of the time display when idle.
• Reprogram soft keys to my personal choice.
Does anyone else have a similar wish list or can anyone point me in the right direction to reach the above goals.

While you can do this sort of thing with the P800 because you have a decent operating system you won't be able to do this in the T610 because such a program with have to run in the limited environment of java or mophun and once you access the main functionality of the phone such a program would close and therefore be non functional.

I wonder if, as time goes by, we'll see modified/hacked firmware for the T610 with additional features.
They're doing some mad stuff with my old Sony J70 now (another phone it was thought that you couldn't add features too). Custom programs, games, menus, graphics, etc...

Yes, you're quite right. There will always be hackers out there but on the other hand when the firmware has been hacked there will be a much smaller audience willing to give it a try compared to getting standard features built into the offiicial firmware like that which EFMAX has requested, given that it cannot be done by standard java and mophun.
Maybe if my phone was as old as the J70 I would be willing to 'play' but not with my 2 spanking new T610s!
