Do anyone know when the newest version Karaophun 3.xx is comming? I want to change songs in this cool karaoke game. |

Hi,
The new version of Karaophun is ready, but it will be published just when I finish the song uploader software.
This new piece of software will allow to upload new songs (and any other type of files) to your phone without the need of any other software. It will work using serial cable, infrared or Bluetooth.
Hope the wait will be worth enough.

It's difficult to give an exact date, it depends on many things. Not relying on the Mobile Phone Monitor for the file transfer is more difficult than I expected in the beginning.
I hope the uploader will be ready in about 2 weeks, but is a rough estimation... could be more or could be less.

As you can see, it will feature a wizard that will guide user along the process. Thanks for your interest.

The new T300/310/610 version is ready for certification, I'm just retouching some translated texts. Also, a prerelease of the "Karaophun! Uploader" will be available for download in the next few days when I update the web (I'm currently working on the infrared support under Windows 2000).
First 3.xx version will be 3.20, and it'll offer the possiblity to upload (almost) any .KAR song using infrared/cable/Bluetooth. It will include a small predefined song (Jingle Bells) that can be removed if necessary to free some space.
Also, I've managed to break the max game size of 120000 bytes per Mophun game, so there will be no size limit for any song (really it will be only limited by the amount of free memory on your phone).

Same question : Does anyone know when Karaophun 3.2 is coming out ? Or at least, is there already a song uploader for version 2.2 available ?
I went to the site of karaophun.com and the site is really not helpful at this time. It says the same thing as what is already indicated in this forum.

Karaophun! 3.20 (now renamed to "Karaophun! Plus" to avoid confussions with older versions) has been ready since first week of September. Sadly enough, seems that most vendors haven't updated their catalog with the newer version.
I contacted Synegernix (makers of Mophun) about this issue, and they replied me that updating the catalog will be mandatory for vendors very soon. I really hope so.
If you are interested, I'll post in this thread any vendor that update its version to the "Plus" one.
By the way, there's no uploader for version 2.2 as it doesn't support standard KAR songs, sorry.
