1) Can any1 tell me the name of the app whcich you can control your PC from the P800

2)Can the Symbian OS read TXT files?

well after that wealth of infomation above...

1, Remote Control 1.0 (my-symbian.com)

2, Yes, use 'viewer' app to read them. Put the .txt files into your documents folder on either the C or D drive

Re remote control: You may also want to try VNC - not only does it work on the P800 but it is multi-platform, so you could actually hook up to a Linux machine, amongst others!

It is very small (the PC client for controlling another PC is only 400kb) and faster than PC Anywhere.

The P800 version is quite slow over GPRS, but it's still good in an emergency. I've not tried the other remote program mentioned above - it'd be interesting to hear from anyone who has tried both and can give an opinion as to which is better?

Also, I use jText which is a freeware text editor.
