Since putting Camcoder on my p800, I have noticed if I use it for playing or taking video, and then close the app, my battery life seems to shorten to about 12 hours on standby.
I can phisically see the battery meter go down each half an hour,
Yet if I shutdown and reboot, the battery lasts longer!
does anyone else have this problem or is it a figmeant of my imagination?

Do you use SMan 1.1a (available from my-symbian -> UIQ devices -> downloads)? I wonder if the 'end task 'kill' option, followed by the memory 'flush' function will kill it off? (Would save a reboot)

Steven.

Gone are the days when I used to run my battery down so it could have a full recharge - I always ended up somwhere with a dead phone!

Mind you, nowadays with the new Li batteries, they can take repeated charging without degredation of performance, so my P800 gets sat in the cradle *every* night!

Get SMan 1.1a - no P800 should be without it (also get File Manager to go with it)!

Steven.

The camcoders has an exit option on the program which closes it down!

You should have done the search on esato instead. (so I did it for you)The following link will tell you everything about Sman. It is a thread by the developer himself. And just for your information Sman solves the problem of baterry drain.
