Developer needed: Atom Time Sync S/W available for P800? |

Hi all,
some things i never understand - why is something like time sync against an "atom time" not available nor implemented?
Or did I miss any kinda software for that?
You might argue that there could be time syncing when attaching to a PC etc but I do this only occasionally while the time slips are quite enormous on my p800...
Where's the developer to bring something to the market which does exactly this via GPRS or CSD? GPRS does have some delay like 2-2.5 secs when attaching but still several pings should do the work!
My $0.01

Yeah, I've been looking for a atomic time synch app too, but with no luck.
Not that I need it that much, as I've set it to synch with the pc clock, but I still want it - just because it's cool |

I have Naviscope on the PC which syncs my PC time with the atomic clock, and the P800 syncs with PC....problem solved (?).

Not really 'coz ami6 says s(he) doesn't synch with pc very often.
Haven't heard of Naviscope but I used to use Tardis2000 prior to XP but now I just use the built in XP time synch.

Sorry - missed that (careless skim-reading!).
More of a concern is "time slips are quite enormous on my p800"...! How enormouss is enormous?

Time slip is around a minute a day which is quite a lot. Thus, because of GPRS availability:
Isnt there a programmer somewhere who can write a lil tool which uses the NTP protocol for sync'ing?
WOuld be really awesome.... And one of the most downloaded tools for the P800 i guess. |
