It was a rhyme that was basically an ode to the fine cuisine that went into the nutrition provided to use by the local education authority, I sort of remember part of it and it's doing my head in not knowing it all... (Anyone who went to Adderlane First School in Prudhoe, Northumberland, England in the early to mid 80s could really help me out )
From what I can remember it went
Jelly Belly custard, Green Snot Pie,
Mix it up in a dead dog's eye!
couple of lines in here, can't remember what they are
Mix it, mix it 'til it's nice and thick,
And pour it down the toilet 'cos it will make you sick <--- can't exactly remember that line either.
Can anyone help me remain sane, I can't get what's left of this poem out of my head! |
