- Support for JPG and animated GIF
- New games

you forgot the best thing wap 2.0 that will support xhtml that would be a completlly different browsing world xhtml is just alike html and xhtml pages can be viewed on you computer as well, and xhtml is meant for color phone since it's high capability of displaying good images and all the other great things you can do with support of cookies, wap 2.0 is the future.
It's like going from a fiat(wap 1.2) to a benz(wap 2.0)

Hi friends,

Just to add to the confusion. There are actually three t68 phones:

T68 (also called prototype)

T68m (commersial but heavily reduced sw compared to the "worlds first MMS mobile" (the t68 ).

The T68i (the reborne T68 but with new clothes)

Now the funny (if you are in the mood for it) thing is that the T68 (prototype) will take on the R2a014 sw of the T68i (since this phone has the same sw but an earlier revision). The T68m product remindes me of the the good old dance..one step forward, two steps backwards. I can not see why SE does not take a rapid step in the rigth direction and provide the existing sw upgrade to the eagerly waiting population of T68m owners (losers).

Cheers!

I thought that the T68 and T68M were the same phone.
The only difference between them is that one is built in Sweden (T68) and the other one in Malaysia (T68M).

What do you mean that the T68 is a prototype? I have a T68 and I bought it last month with R2A software. For me the T68 and T68M are the same phone.

The T68i is the new phone shown this month and it has the Sony Ericsson logo and has some advanced features like MMS.

Mine is T68, but made in Malaysia.....???

Anyway, I do not think there is any difference between 68 & 68m, only labeling for different markets.Software depends where and when you bougt one.

jibuti... correct.. before the realese of T68i, the T68m was mostly called T68, but now when the i-model is released the "m" is used more so that the two models will not be mixed up...
if you look at website you can see that they call the T68m phone just T68
