Is there any possibility to download pictures from T68i to the PC via a USB cable, or do I have to use IRDA or BT?? Got a couple of pictures taken with my MC25 I would like to have on my computer..

(I know I could send them as e-mail, but I would like to know if its possible using USB cable..)

Also looking for a program creating ringtones on computer so I can send to my phone...

I believe that you want a .wav to .imy converter. have a bit of a look around (http://www.google.com) and you should find the right sort of thing.

As for IR/BT - check that your laptop doesn't already have onboard IR. Most recent laptops already have it built in. If not then you want an IR/BT dongle. IR ones are cheaper, only real advantage of BT is not having to line up the devices.

Regards,

Phil.

If your laptop is 3 years old there is a very good chance it has IR. It is a little red window of glass someone on the sides or back of the laptop. At worst check the manual or if you are a bit technical go into the BIOS and see of there are any settings for IR (including activating it as often it is deactivated by default).

For some reason Sony seem to have stopped putting them on my latest 2 XP pro px's (R600 and V505) meaning I had to buy a USB IR dongle!

@IrDA_FAN . . . I don't think its to do with the cable, more likely, the software. This is the first I've heard of downloading from phone to pc via cable, are you sure? I didn't think it was possible ... only from pc to phone and not vice versa

You can transfer from phone to pc using irda, i've tried it and it works.
I don't know if it will work using BT or cable.
