I have used the app Sendfile transfering some ringtones, thems and games to my phone(T618),but those didn't work at all . The phone told me that the files can't be used,Please tell how can I solve this problem.
and the MIDI files the psmplayer on my PC made can't be heard on my phone.

It appears that SendFile works with T610 for some people but not for others. Can it be the MPM? Anyhow, do you actually manage to upload the file to the phone or do you get an error?

Well, downloading via GRPS/WAP, sending over IR, and BlueTooth are very good alternatives to using a cable.

[EDIT]
Other then SendFile I don't know of any programs that will send file to the phone over cable. I've never had the need for it. I am sure someone else can help you with that though...

having problems with sendfile (or the MPM)?

try fMA, it also has a send utility for the phone, and it doesn't need the MPM at all.
