does any one knows if a pcture can be set like a backround at the main screen,I mean when the flip is open to put it behind the list of the apps and the function abilities.
like it is in the pictures of P810/P900

Check out programs like Tracker, Active Desk & Handy Day. These programs give you a better desktop & you can put a picture as a background.

I understand what you mean, but it is very sad this is not possible!
Actually UIQ 2.1 can do this, but UIQ 2.1 is not released for the SE P800, not as a (firmware) update! Maybe in the future we could make our own themes...
As far as i know, the white background in the apps list in the p800 is not a background, maybe thats why it cant be changed by us!
AS u know there are shutdown and startup videos, same story about the background, (if it was a background and) if we knew where it was located maybe we could replace it....

You can try to use this prog; http://www.psiloc.com/?id=prod&nrp=93 there you can change the colours (of the background (and everything else))
