Opinions on Bluetooth headsets! |

I got my HBH-15 in december last year, and my T68 at about the same time. First used it with my T39, which worked very well. But with my T68 it does not always connect to the headset when calls are recieved or made, when it is set on "automatic" in the Bluetooth-menu on the T68. Is this normal? I don't have any wireless set-up in my home or at work, so I don't think it's caused by intereference. It's a bit annoying!! When Bluetooth is enabled all the time, it works like a charm, but the battery of the T68 wears down faster in my experience.
What is everyones experience with Bluetooth-headsets from Ericsson?? I think the battery-life of the HBH-15 is quite good, the sound-quality usually very good (distorted sometimes), and it looks allright (but it's a bit big). Only annoying thing is the problem with the "automatic"-mode on the phone (I have software-version R2A013). Will it help upgrading the phone to R2B?
What are the pros and cons of the HBH-10, HBH-15 and the HBH-20 in your opinion. I chose the HBH-15 because it doesn't have any wires (like the HBH-20) and the battery life is the best of the available Bluetooth-headsets from Ericsson.
The Bluespoon looks nice, but it's not available yet, so I don't have any other opionons on it!
And do anyone have experience with the Bluetooth-headsets from Motorola or the one from Nokia, or Plantronics? Are they any good?

Try upgrading, there are still a few connectivity bugs that need to be sorted out. Bluetooth is relatively new to the mass market. |

Hi all!
Ive really dont have opinions but I was very close to buy HBH-15, when I saw that there was a new model soon to come (HBH-30).
And I thinks it looks like theyve made it this time

Exactly same! I decided to not to buy HBH-15 in last few minutes before shop was closed. I made this decision because of lack of voice control ("magic word"). Day after I saw news from new products introduction including HBH-30. So now I'm looking for HBH-30 and if it will fine, I will buy it.

I got both the HBH-10 and HBH-20.
And of course I work with bluespoon as well,..but dont use it yet in "public"
HBH-10 I used with T-39,..worked very well.
With T68m it does happen sometime, that the call isnt transferred to the headset. This only happens when bluetooth is set to "automatic".
Yes it drains battery when bluetooth-mode is "ON".
No, it wont really help upgrading the phone, the problem with "automatic-mode" is still there. I have R2B on my T68m.
I even got the software upgrade in the HBH-10,..that did help somewhat, and the sound-quality got better.
Now I use the HBH-20 with my T68i,..this works very well indeed.
It always picks up calls. Battery-lige isnt as good as HBH-10 or 15, but its still quite ok
Sound-quality is good on this.
The wire doesnt really bother me much for now.
Sound-quality : Its always easier for you (who wears the headset) to hear people,..than the other way around.
So You might say that the speaker is better than the microphone.
This is somewhat true,..but there're different reasons for that.
I wont go much into "how" good the Bluespoon's sound-quality is,..all I can say is, that its good !
Plantronics makes very good wired headsets, and I would think that the M1500 bluetooth headset would also be good in sound-quality.
Philips are releasing a Plantronics "look-alike". Think they must be working together.
Motorola's headset is a joint-venture thing with GN-netcom (Jabra).
GN-netcom/Jabra will release 3 headsets in the summer.
Pilcon are releasing theirs in the summer too.
And Nokia, well, they are being delayed,..it should have been out by now,..but its coming along, should be out in may/june I think.
We usually test some of the other headsets (competitors) at Nextlink, but we havent recieved any of these new ones yet.
I will write, if/when I get the chance to test them

I have a slightly different experience with Bluetooth which I bought 6 months ago.
I use HBH-10 for T28 and T39 , They worked fine all the time
When I switched to T68m, I have had some connectivity problems with HBH-10 initially. However, since upgraded T68m software from R1C to R2B, The problems disappeared even bluetooth is set to "automatic" mode.
Eventhough, software upgrade is available in my country, I haven't done it for my HBH-10 yet, I understand this would further improve sound qualities to match HBH-15. |

Thanks for all the replies!
I'm quite happy with my HBH-15, even though I'm probably gonna upgrade to the HBH-30 when it arrives. Or maybe the Bluespoon, whichever comes first!! I work at an electronics shop in Norway and can therefore buy things cheap.
How is the battery life of the HBH-10 and HBH-20 compared to the HBH-15?
I hope that upgrading my T68m from R2A to R2B will solve the problem with "automatic"-mode, or at least make it happen not as often! |

The HBH-15 is the unit with best battery-times.
HBH-10 is almost the same as HBH-15.
HBH-20 isnt as good.
