I recently acquired a P800 to replace my T68i. I am very impressed with the phone in almost every way.

There is, however, one thing that is bothering me about this phone. The first time I took it out of the box I noticed a small speck of dust IN the screen. That's right, not on but in, it is above the LCD layer but below the plastic.

If anyone knows a way to get it out I would be grateful. I tried partially disassembling the phone but, once it came to prying the two halves apart my better judgement kicked in and I reassembled it.

How, much would this cost to have repaired and, where can it be done for someone living in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. On the other hand, if there are detailed instructions on the web that someone could point me to I'd be just as happy to do it myself.

Ive had the same problem as you. As long as i know i dont think this can be repaired as the people in the service center told me they cant open the LCD and remove the dust so only option is it has to be replaced. I got mine replaced under warranty due to the dust issue. Maybe you want to see this:
