Hi,
Anyone know how to RESET the phone - clear all data and put the phone back to Factory Default.

If you want to put the phone to factory default use the Format Internal Drive function! (Up * down down * down *)
The Master Reset doesn't erase everything.

Up = jog-dial up, Down = jog dial down.

if we format the internal disk through that jog dial process, does the phone work as in does the software remain? is the phone just as a new one if we do this? |

It is as new but be careful! Any additional language (besides English) is gone!
*In case you need the additional language you can install it afterwards. You have to check SE support site if the language is available for download. The available language file has to match your phone’s firmware version.

this mite b a simple question but i need to ask to be sure .... i have r2d on my phone wen i format through the jog dial process will my phone still hgave r2d? or i will havto go to SE for a software installation?? |
