Hi all,

I've already wrecked one phone because I had to slam on the .....screeeeech - - > THUD!..Crunch!! so I just got HCH-32, the cradle specifically for the p800.

Now I've installed it on the dash the phone looks really cool, especially at night when it's lit up against my blue dash illumination.

I use it with a BT Jabra 200 bluetooth headset (very good though I want the one with the redial firmware). This set up works very werll for me as a budget car kit. I don't seem to need an aerial so I've not bothered. I use a normal cigarette lighter phone charger which plugs into the base of the cradle.

Problem!! - sltting the phone into the cradle is just the same as putting it in the desk charger. It doesn't seem to 'know' that it's in the car - which I want it do do as I'd lik the backlight to stay on and the profile to change.

How can I activate the car profile automatically when I slot it in. Do I need an aerial or another cable? I really don't want to go the whole way and have the call routing though speakers etc.
Any thoughts?

Richard
