Network Operator Barred Phone? |

Can Orange (UK) Bar a handset if it is not the registered handset on their system? I have had my t68 since september which I purchased offline, I have not told orange that this is my phone as I though any phone will work. It has been working happily up until today. Any Orange SIM I insert into my phone does not work, Vodafone or Cellnet SIMs work in the phone. My SIM (Orange) will work in my old phone which orange have on record. Is is possible that orange have barred the phone?
Any Ideas?
Thanks
Matt. |

Your phone IMEI is not registered to them.

If orange deem to think that your phone is stolen, they will bar your IMEI on their network which would in turn result in the inability to use your phone on their network.
The networks have tightened up phone-theft measures and are increasingly making it difficult for stolen phones to be used on their networks as phone theft hits all time highs.
As a result, your phone may be stolen, if not, Orange believe so. |
