I think it'll depend whether you want/need to make backups of your phone memory and memory stick... As I'm not sure you can perform backup/restore over Bluetooth.

Honnestly, if I were you I would take both options. Buy a new syncstation, and by a bluetooth adapter for your PC as well

you CANNOT backup the phone using anything other than the synchstation (or some other official USB connector). This is beacuse Bakcups are done when the phone is in "bootstrap" mode, which means no connectivity except USB.

Also IF in the future we could be able to update our firmware ourselves (please SE!!!), u can bet your bottom dollar the only way is via that synchstation.

However, i agre that its nice to ALSO have the bluetooth, as it seems faster at synch.

I have both. I almost never use my syncstation except for backup. However, you do have to aware of the way BT works with P800. The ideal situation is that every time when I walk within the BT range, it syncs up with my P800. Unfortunately, it doesn't do that very well since my BT adaptor (from Billionton) - doesn't know to reconnect automatically and you have to do it everytime manually. Also, the BT connection is not alway stable.

Before having the BT, I was syncing with infrared. I thought I could save a few clicks and not having to position my P800 against the infrared window in my laptop. But it was too much of a wishful thinking.
