hi there!
Like many of you, I bought a T616 of Ebay. Like many of you, I received an unlocked T616 from Cingular. It is all well and good, and I love the phone, but Cingular had the bright idea of customizing the firmware, adding all kinds of things a ATT user doesn't need.
Now, it is my understanding that you need to flash your firware with a uncustomized sony ericsson, and preferably a recent one. So, I bought the special cable (the maintenance one), and I am now looking for a firmware to be flashed. I also have the software, but I can't find where to download the damn firmware. Does anyone here have any idea?
I am doing the right thing?
Should I just leave it be and learn to live with the cingular mod?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
