Yes I bought one and can recommend it.
The seller is genuine (he e-mailed me to tell me there would be a delay as his wife was stuck in traffic on way to Post office) and the product is worth 20 UKP (just about)
I paid 10 UKP for a silver Psion revo stylus 4/5 years ago and this is heavier.
One thing it does take a while to bed in ie take out is awkward at first, you have to hold you thumb at the bottom of the stylus and push upwards to remove but it does become easier.
Is it real silver though? people do ask and I say 'yes, of cause it is!' but smile! should there be a hallmark or is that just gold?
N

Hallmarks are a legal requirement for retailers of precious metals in the UK. Not so in other countries, found this out a few years back when i brought a ring in Crete for my gfriend. I noticed it didnt have a hallmark and thought id been robbed of £200! went back to the shop and they said they would put a hallmark on if i wanted one! Found out when arrived back in uk that Hallmarks are not allways found on all countries metals, but UK is law.
If its a private sell, sure this doesnt matter. hallmark doesnt mean anything really anyway. Anyone can put in a fake hallmark on fake gold/silver etc... Silver is cheap anyway, not much poit faking this. |

Hi,
Sure it's .925 silver. Nigelot1 - look at the small stamp on the front above the chevrons. Anyone not entirely delighted will get an instant refund anyway
The stainless steel mould for these (and we make them in 9kt and 18kt gold also) costs a fortune and we wouldn't be messing about with non-genuine metals. Silver is relatively inexpensive. If we wanted to make 'moody' silver things, we would be making larger items than these little styli!
They are made in Singapore (by my brother-in-law who is a master goldsmith) and that's why they're stamped .925 and not hallmarked. Hallmarking is expensive anyway and not worth us importing for retail in the UK where, as the previous poster correctly states, a hallmark is law.
We also have them now for Pocket PC and Palm 'M' series
Cheers! |
