Hi all

I've just dropped my p800 from my lap

All is in order ... I think. When I press a thumb into the back battery cover, it feels slightly loose: if i move my thumb to the left or right, the cover shifts by a couple of mm left or right accordingly.

Is this normal? I can't remember whether it was like this before the drop or not.

Thanks in advance

Mine is loose to but it's because I got one of the first released models, it makes a slight creaky noise, but doesn't move much at all, just a mm or so, the newer model covers don't do that, They fit perfectly and don't creak,

Anyone out there wants to swop, my old cover for a new cover

l think the difference is that the older covers don't have the cross braces to strengthen it (the pieces of plastic running across the inside the cover). I am onto my second P800 as my first one died and from what I remember, my first P800 didn't have them. [addsig]

Mine has the several braces running inside it. Yet, it still moves by about a mm to each side and does slightly creak when you press it at the lower end.

I'm not sure if it was just like this, or mind is aware of it now knowing I dropped it.

Oh well, either way, my p800 is now christended and I can lug it around more freely

Thanks

mine also has the braces but it still creakes. not a big deal but i think the bars are useless and make it nearly impossible to store extra DUO's in the phone. FYI: if you have a door like this i advise you to trim the top 2 bars off and then a DUO will fit very nicely with no bulge. i did it last night and now i am in DUO heaven
