welcome to Esato .. I believe you can't remove it. Let's hope an Option would be out to turn it off.

@T68 MMS
FOR GODS SAKE SORT THAT SIGNATURE OUT! ^_^
It's ridiculous! Spare a thought for people on wap, you sig causes my p800 to freeze up loading all the images, not to mention the GPRS data wasted!
If you must use pictures in your sig, just use a few? Thanks.

getting back to the point of the thread...
Although not possible to remove the Op logo on any SE phone, since the P800 is a programmable phone, it shoudlnt be tooo tricky for some developer to "replace" the current "standby" application with somethign different. The "current" screen is only an aplication that is run. I am sure that someone coudl theoretically design a new plaication that could do all sorts of marvels, like skinned fronts, operator hiding, etc, even a differnet menu (a nokia lookalike is possible too/ heaven forbid!)
Soo developers, if u are doing it for profit, or fun, there is a market of fans here! (damn wish i could get my head around the Symbian API, otherwise i could take a shot!)

Wouldn't it be possible to remove the vodafone logo by having the phone flashed/its firmware upgraded to a SE service center? just make sure the SE service center isn't affiliated with the cell provider or they might use the special firmware kit (with the logo and all) for your phone. You'll be stuck with the SE logo though but no more "vodafone"
