its best to view a model ratha than piccys lol I always thought the t616 wud be massive till saw the model!

thats cool - i was gonna get one when it launches here in the UK. didnt think it was that small though, i also thought it was large as the p800 but what they hey,

I may go down to their store and hav a look at it. I called them and they said that the set was only for display purporses, and not for sale, given to them by Siemens Singapore. According to them, they have have not got a release date from Siemens. I may post some pics later. Watch this space.

If the link http://www.mobilesquare.netfirms.com/preview.html doesn't work..it is because the SX1 has not been approved by the relevent authorities ( the IDA ; Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore ) and they have probably removed the pics, thats why you will get a " The page cannot be found " .... so as to not keep our hopes up.
I just went down to the store, and guess what? ..i got a hold of the SX1 and played around with it too!!.. ( a correction to the earlier post when i said that it was given to them..it was actually lent to them by the Director of Siemens Singapore, who knows the owner/managing director of the shop. ) The set is a prototype, and the only one in Singapore. Unfortunately, the battery was dead ( more like really weak. [As i switched it on & fiddled around with it, it continuosly turned itself off] ) due to the many other people before me who also played with thE SX1 and killed the battery. So, i did not actually get to make use of its full features, including the camera, which i didn't notice at the back of the phone. [ the camera was like, the size of a  SonyEricsson logo/sticker..like this--> ]. The reason why the phone cannot be charged is that th SX1 uses a different Batt + Charger than other Siemens models..and the store didn't have the SX1 charger, cos the Siemens Singapore Director didn't provide one together with the phone.
So, thats all for today.
I'll have the pics that i've taken within the next 2 days..so WaTcH ThIs sPaCe
EDIT: According to the Managing Director of the shop, the SX1 will be released in 3-6 mths time. And when i asked about the camera quality, the guy said that he didn't manage to test the feature, as the phone hangs. Don't worry, cos its only a prototype model, and the software isn't usually stable.
