cheers Mass.
Seen it before, I believe it doesn't support in-coming calls nor voice-dialling.
Plus looks a bit naff to me, got the hpm-10 and it does the job (just about).
I'm gonna wait for the HBM-30.

Are you sure it doesn't accept incoming calls? The product description says so. I'm about to bid on it, so it would be helpful if someone that actually has it would let me know. Thanks! |

does it have an exstra memory card standard or is it just the internal memory on 8 MB?

I'm having trouble with the memory card. When I load 7 songs, it plays fine, but when I load 8 or more (total on the card, not at a time), the songs mix with each other. Trying to skip from track to track, it plays in the middle of the song. but when I play it back on the computer directly from the MMC, it plays fine. Anyone else have this problem? I need help! I've already gone through the HPM-10 (old version) and it can't read the UTEK MMC I bought (128mb). Very frustrating! |

Where can you get this HPM-10 player from. I have the older type but would love to get this one. Is it available in the UK.

Try formating the card to regular FAT. (not FAT 16 or 32)
That should do the trick I belive.

Just so its clear, I dont think this is an official SE product (despite the use of the old Ericsson Logo). Its not the new MP3 player that will replace the old HPM-10 |

Seen it before. It's definitely a faked one. The design and built quality can not be compared with the HPM-10.

history for this MP3 player goes back to a few yrs ago when
HPM-10 is launched. Soon after that, a taiwan company made an OEM version of it. I believe this was available in Taiwan and recently HK seem to have some stock of it.
I just get a HK mag saying somewhere in Kowlong and another IT hot spot there is giving offer. You just need to pay around HK Dollar 139 to get it if my memory is correct.
THIS IS NOT A FAKE PRODUCT. EVEN Ericsson know the existence of this product but it is not owned by them.
This product allow you to plug into T28 phone and above AND best, it come with a battery compartment as showed in the picture so you can use it as an independent product.
U don't need a seperate MMC reader since the unit have a mini USB port. |

The HPM-10 is still available some places, like http://www.mobiles.co.uk/et39_mp3.html for example, just do a search on google. I got it for £35 from Ericsson last year and was very happy with it but upgraded to the P800 so I had everything in the one machine. |
