correction microneo:
those will not work properly in the slot on the side of the p800 but if you have the expansion jacket they will work fine, course by the time you buy the stick and the jacket you may as well have just bought a DUO
correction Narr:
DUO's do not need to be smaller than 128Mb

sorry what i meant is that the P800 wont support memory sticks greater than 128mb it says so in the manual. and i think the MS jacket is not useful as it bulks up the phone and adds a little extra weight

Where in the manual does it say they do not accept duos bigger than 128mb. It is known that they accept bigger, it is just being able to afford the asking price for the 256mb ones. |

Why wouldnt it support 256Mb?
Aslong as the physical size of the cards is the same,
the file structure can remain the size on a bigger card.
if they can make a 128Mb stick why cant they make a 256? |

Doesnt that just mean that when it was written (and as it still stands) the 128Mb was the biggest available.
Although it says it supports 'upto' a 128 this doesnt mean it cant support higher.
the only thing holding Sony back is getting the Memory Stick techno into the 1/3 size Duo stick. |
