Got my P800 replaced on Orange care today and has the R2F firmware installed! Must say its a definate improvement, seems more stable to use.

Anyone been using R2F for a while had any problems?

My R2D, with 2.5MB internal memory free, is stable *except* when playing MIIB... p*ss*r - it seems a mildy entertaining distraction!

So saying, was using the phone the other day, screensaver kicked in, then power saving....and then it wouldn't wake up - I actually had to remove the battery??!!

Steven.

Did you get the whole package replaced or did they just send you the phone. I heard that Orange send out the full package box charger stylie and so on but only want the phones back, is this true.

@volvoman ~ Nah, they only sent the handset for a straight swap.. They send the whole package if its within 28 days of purchase. Even then you have to give them the handset/charger/duo everything basicaly but not the box! ~Eva

Orange will replace the whole package and just expect the phone back if you work for em so peeps have a full boxed phone minus the phone and battery for sale! ie i have

1x box
1x charger
1x USB Syc Cradle
1x 16mb DUO MS
3x Spare Styli
1x Headset
1x carry case
1x Cover off clip thingy!

and all relevant manuals, CD's and MS adapter etc all you got with it orignally but NO phone or battery

@fatreg

Read again - you only get the handset for a Orange care replacement, within 28 days they replace the whole thing and the courier *expects* everything but the box ie. charger, duo etc. (unless you're lucky) I should know, I'm on my 5th or 6th already! ^_~

I had R2F firmwear installed and ever since, on start up, after keying in my sim code, the P800 will give off a series of clicking sounds. It doesnt seem to effect anything...just strange. Anyone else had this??
