Hi,
Anyone managed to get TipicME works?
I have installed the program onto my P800; setup the account info:
User name: xxxxxx
Password: xxxxxx
Server: tipic.com
Proxy: EMPTY
I added my friends' Yahoo ME account. However, whatever message I sent out is not reachable.
Any idea?

Are you accessing via GPRS?
I'm using tipic pro (Still free until he decides to charge for it but is a bit more stable.)

Finally, I made it works! I missed out the step of "Register Transport", you must register which IM Server you would like to talk to before you start.

are you using IM+? i have a problem with my IM+. it logs in to icq, aol and msn but not yahoo?
any pointers you can give me?
Own a P800.. It's definitely worth your money. |

TipicMe is free whereas IM+ cost 30 bucks with no trial to test it before hand.

Try using the pro version, it is much more stable. Its on a free download until they get around to charging $4/month. (don't see that happening soon though) |

I can't get it to work at all. What am I supposed to put as user name and password. Do I have to g=register first with someone? |

Yeah you need to register on tipics servers (at tipic website it think) So that you have your username on tipic.com servers when the program starts. See settings at top of this link. |

You have to try and login (top right) but as you cant you must a create a new account
