I have recently purchased a Blutetooth TDK pc card for my Dell Laptop and for some reason I cannot establish a connection between the T610 phone and the laptop or vice versa.

What am I doing wrong?, or is there a problem with compatibility between the pc card and dell laptop I have read that somewhere before.

Also I have a plantronics bluetooth headset and I'm also unable to establish a connection to the t610 on that device as well.

Any help would be greatly recieved, by the way the week of manufacture was W20 and made in Japan sent it back had hissing problem, dont know whether this would cause bluetooth problems.

Make sure the bluetooth on your phone is ON, and the phone is set to VISIBLE.
If that doesn't help try "My Devices" -> "Add Device" from the bluetooth on your phone to detect the laptop
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.

I have a T610 and the TDK PCMCIA Card in my laptop too. I can get them paired, but after a few hours of use I find T610 has deleted the laptop from the list of devices in 'My Devices'. See alt.cellular.bluetooth for details.

I have used an M1000 with a T610 without problems. Do you have the passkey correct for the M1000?
